General Information

The focus semester Computability and Randomness is held under the auspices of the Mathematics Center Heidelberg (MatCH) and the Institute of Computer Science of Heidelberg University.

The focus semester takes place March through August 2015. The main activities are expected for May through July and include the Tenth International Conference on Computability, Complexity and Randomness (CCR 2015).

The aim of the focus semester is to gather researchers interested in computability theory and algorithmic randomness for exchanging ideas and for collaboration.

Location

The focus semester is hosted by the Institute of Computer Science of Heidelberg University and will be held on the premises of the university on the campus Neuenheimer Feld.

Topics

Funding

There are limited funds that will allow to support selected participants. Requests for funding are particularly welcome from early career researchers and those from under-represented groups.
